White Heather is a well-balanced grain and malt blend Scotch Whisky, that has a lovely nose and palate that harkens back to its name sake. Well aged and all round smooth Scotch. This bottle of White Heather Blended Scotch Whisky comes with a presentation box that has a map of Scotland on it. In case you didn't know, there was actually a great, big heart which was visible from space in the north of Scotland for a while in the 1960s.
White Heather Scotch Tasting Notes
The old wood, sugar, sherry, faint wood or peat smoke fills up anyone's nose with its rich blend.
The finish is sweet, spicy and warming then bitter and dry until eventually peat makes its appearance.
The taste is of sherry, sweet and viscous, creamy mouthfeel, bitter oak tannins and char.

Aberlour 10-year-old Malt Scotch Whiskey
Produced by the Aberlour Distillery, located at Speyside in Scotland, where the Lour Burn or the Lour Stream joins the River Spey, the Aberlour 10-Year-Old has 40% ABV and is made from 100% malted barley that is kiln dried. Launched at the end of the 19th century, it became the deluxe, sophisticated brother to the standard Haig & Haig blend, while in the US it has long been known as Dimple Pinch. Whether the name inspired the bottle or vice versa is unclear, but Dimple has always been packaged in a distinctive lozenge-shaped bottle with pinched sides like a collapsed pot still. Of the various expressions over time, the 15-year-old has a caramel sweetness, a touch of spice, some vanilla oak and no discernible smoke.
