The Calvados Casks Have Helped To Bolster The Stewed Orchard Fruit Notes At The Core Of The Spirit.

This Is The Second Limited Edition Release In Whistlepig's Farmstock Series, Which Is Intended To Achieve What The Distillery Has Termed Its '100% Triple Terroir Vision'. This Entails Creating An Expression Which Is Distilled Entirely From Whistlepig Grain, Proofed With Whistlepig Water And Aged In Whistlepig Custom Vermont White Oak. Which All Sounds Deliciously Whistlepig! The Blend That Went Into Farmstock Rye Crop 002 Was Crowdsourced From An Estimated 500 Bartenders, Influencers, And Consumers From Around The United States, With 32% Of It Being 2-Year-Old 'triple Terroir' Rye Whiskey (Up From 20% From Whistlepig Farmstock Crop No.001). A 6-Year-Old Whiskey From Mpgi In Indiana Makes Up A Further 45% Of The Blend, While The Final 23% Is 10-Year-Old Whiskey From Alberta Distillers In Canada. Peter Lynch, The Distillery’s Master Blender Worked Closely With The Master Distiller, Dave Pickerell, To Perfect The Final Blend.

WhistlePig is a Vermont based brand of straight rye whiskey which is matured at Alberta distilleries and later shipped to Vermont. Though being relatively new in the whiskey world, it has become a well-known brand WhistlePig released their first expression in 2015 and have since released many acclaimed Rye whiskeys.

This Auchentoshan 12-year-old expression replaced the old 10 year-old when the range was totally revamped. Elegant and refined, with theose classic Auchentoshan notes of vanilla and almonds.
Clontarf is now made using whiskey that has been triple distilled with their malt whiskey coming from County Antrim and grain whiskey for blending coming from County Cork.
Jack Daniels Whiskey
Jack Daniel’s is the largest selling American whiskey brand in the world. Although it meets all the specified standards to be labelled a straight Bourbon whiskey, the company chooses to refer to their product as ‘Tennessee whiskey’. Jack Daniel’s whiskeys undergo a special filtration procedure called the Lincoln Country Process, which enables Jack Daniel’s to classify their product as ‘Tennessee whiskey’.
MacNair’s was the eponymous blend of Harvey MacNair and Company of Glasgow and London, which owned Benromach distillery during the First World War. Its ownership passed to Hiram Walker, then Allied Distillers and finally Pernod Ricard. In 2012 its new owner revamped the packaging and released it with a competitive price to take on rival blend Label 5 in French supermarkets. MacNair’s Special Reserve is also available in Poland.Quite possibly a flagship blend for Harvey MacNair & Co. quite early on, of which there is little information available, the modern incarnation is bottled at 40% abv and features a high proportion of malt whisky.
