J.P. Wiser’s Honours Canada’s 150th Anniversary
Corby Spirit and Wine Ltd. plans the launch of the first ever annual Northern Border Collection Rare Release, which is a carefully chosen assortment from the rarest of Canadian casks. This range consists of 12 Year Old Cask Strength Lot No.40, J.P. Wiser's 35 Year Old, Gooderham & Worts 'Little Trinity' 17 Year Old Three Grain, and Pike Creek 21 Year Old. This limited release, which is expected to hit the Canadian stores from October, is possibly the most exotic range of Canadian whisky that was ever released.
“J.P. Wiser’s is a proud Canadian brand that’s older than the country itself, so we felt a sense of duty to create something really special and one-of-a-kind – not only to mark Canada’s big anniversary, but also to celebrate all the milestones along the way over the past 150 years,” said Keeshan Selvakumar, Whisky Brand Manager, Corby Spirit and Wine in a prepared statement. He also added, “J.P. Wiser’s One Fifty Commemorative Series gives people the opportunity to covet a unique piece of our country’s great history; a week and point in time that only they can call their own.”
The much-awaited collection has been designed to highlight the essence of Canadian whisky and simultaneously underline Corby's commitment in propelling the reappraisal of the national spirit of Canada. The exclusive Northern Border Collection (Gooderham & Worts Four Grain, Lot 40 100% Rye, Pike Creek 10 Year Old, and JP Wiser's 18 Year Old) has proven its worth by winning several awards over the past five years.
Ultra-rare expressions complementing the Northern Border collection will be launched during the fall. Dr. Don Livermore, the Master Blender, said: "This is an extraordinary line up of Canadian Whisky and should be part of any whisky collection.”
