American Born Announces New Line of Whiskey
American Born is all set to introduce a new line of whiskey into its domestic market. A recent acquisition by spirits producer Milestone Brands LLC, American Born will soon launch three new products. These include two 70-proof whiskeys infused with real fruit, (Apple and Peach) and an 83-proof Bourbon Whiskey.
Eric Dopkins, Chief Executive Officer of Milestone Brands, termed American Born an “incredible brand” which emblematizes USA’s roots and history, while celebrating the country’s contemporary culture and lifestyle.
American Born’s 83-proof Bourbon whiskey is an homage to the recognition of the country’s independence in 1783. It is constituted of mash bill, a trademark blend of rye grain and corn. These crop staples serve to symbolize and embody the American free spirit and tradition.
The 70-proof Apple and Peach whiskeys are infused with natural flavors and real fruit juice. American Born recommends that they should be consumed either neat as a shot, or with ice and cola, tea or ginger ale.
Bottled in Nashville, Tennessee, American Born will initially launch the line in the state as well as California and Texas in March 2017. Roll-out will further continue across Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, New York, Missouri, Minnesota, Washington, Kansas, and Wisconsin.
Milestone Brands LLC is based out of Austin, Texas. It was founded in 2016 by Eric Dopkins, former CEO of Deep Eddy Vodka and co-founder Chad Auler, who also established Savvy Vodka. The company’s portfolio includes Dulce Vida Spirits and the recently re-branded American Born Whiskey.

Scotch Single Malts Witness Growth Spurt
The single malt is something that a true whisky connoisseur will vouch for. Whisky purists prefer the single malt over everything else. Fermented from a mash that is made along with malted grain, exclusively in a single distillery. It is this repute of the revered Scotch whisky that has acted as a catalyst in increasing the export values to £1.8 billion during the first half of the year, with a total growth of 3.4%. The increase has been recorded across the globe, including the states comprising the largest markets of the whisky industry. This growth has significantly benefitted the whole UK economy and the export performance of the country. Scotch still is Britain’s greatest food and drink export item. It makes up almost a fifth of the alcohol sector’s overseas shipments.Read More
