
The Godfather
This simple drink became popular in the 1970s. Though, no one's really sure of its origin. Some stories say that it was inspired by the famous gangster film of the same name, while others believe that the Don himself, Marlon Brando, drank it regularly.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz. Scotch
- 1.5 oz. Amaretto liqueur
- Glass: Preferably Old fashioned
- Orange peel
The Process
Add Scotch and amaretto liqueur to the cocktail stirring glass. Stir gently with added ice, then pour it in the old-fashioned glass. Garnish your drink with a jaunty piece of orange peel. Sip. Serve. Enjoy
