Los Angeles Welcomes a Whisky-Themed Hotel

According to credible sources, a new boutique hotel with whisky-themed bars will come up in Los Angeles. Rightly named “The Whisky Hotel” this 134-room property will include whisky-themed minibars with very rare and carefully chosen spirits in each of the rooms.
It has also been planned that The Whisky Hotel will host whisky-themed parties and events such as tastings and cocktail classes. It may also feature something as unusual as a whisky fountain in the lobby.
The ground floor of the property has been chosen for vintage whiskey offerings from Japan, Ireland and Scotland. The staff will include a whisky sommelier who will ensure satisfaction of the guests. The restaurateur and hotelier Adolfo Suaya came up with the plan to invest in the whisky-themed hotel after The Phoenix, a whisky bar which he runs in Los Angeles, was a great success. The construction of the whiskey-themed hotel is expected to near completion by 2021.
The hotelier also has plans of a rooftop restaurant and bar on the 7-storey hotel. The rooftop restaurant may resemble a giant greenhouse with glass panels and lush plants which will offer views of Hollywood.
The two designers involved in the project will include Christoph Kapeller of CK architecture and Roschen Van Cleve Architects. Apart from the 134 rooms, the hotel will also include a garage on the Wilcox Avenue with a capacity of 120 cars. This is one among the several hotels which are under construction in Los Angeles.
A whisky lover’s paradise, the boutique hotel will offer comfort and a lot more. The concept of The Whisky Hotel is bound to be a success as most travellers prefer to unwind during holidays with liquor. And what better spirit than whisky which offers complete rejuvenation.
