7 year old Indian single malt whisky here from the Paul John range, finished in an Oloroso Sherry cask!This was distilled in 2009 and bottled at cask strength in 2016 without any chill-filtration or additional colours. Due to Goa's warmer climes (compared to Scotland) means there’s more evaporation from the casks, but the whisky also shows well at a younger age.
A particularly flavoursome Indian single malt from the Paul John range. Kanya is an unpeated expression that has been aged in first-fill American white oak casks and bottled at 50% ABV. Only 1,500 bottles were produced. In Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2018, this expression was awarded a staggering 96 points and the title of Best Asian Whisky 2018!
Peated whisky from the Paul John range of single malts produced in Goa. This particular expression was matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at cask strength (a pleasing 55.5% ABV) without chill filtration. A prime example of the gorgeous whisky distilleries in India are producing.
Single cask Indian single malt whisky from John Distilleries. Matured in a first fill American oak cask in the the warm climate of Goa - where the angel's share is rather large indeed - 156 bottles were produced at 59% abv.

The distillery founded in 1992 is an Indian company, which is known to produce many beverages like wine, brandy and whisky. Although it says Indian, Paul John is made from Indian barley, with Scottish peat, distilled in traditional copper containers and later matured in American oak casks. Launched first in the United Kingdom, Paul John Single Malt whisky was appreciated by whisky lovers in Europe. Apart from Europe, Paul John Single Malt whisky is also available in USA, New Zealand, Australia, India, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. The company eventually plans to expand their supply to other countries and make the brand available in all European markets.

Robert Brown was sole agent for of Henry Thompson & Co.'s ""Old Irish Whiskey."" for over twenty years. This was reputed to be one of the best whiskey labels of it's time and used by Queen Victoria, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Connaught and was supplied to the Houses of Parliament.. Crooks tried very hard to reproduce this old blend of whiskey, the labeling was very good and was passed around many of the pubs in and around Scotland, however one would know right away by the fowl taste and smell of this copy fire water."
