The initial sniffs after the pour reveal supple, buttery, and piney aromas; more time allows a pleasant fruitiness to appear along with traces of vanilla and cedar. Palate entry is honey sweet and silky; by midpalate the backbone flavors are clearly the sweet grain andvanilla bean. Concludes warmly in the throat. An extremely pleasant malt. Best Buy.
Prince Charlie Scotch
This elegant whisky is dedicated to the memory of the last Scottish Prince, Charles Edward Stuart. Known as Bonnie Prince Charlie, he became a legend in his lifetime as the leader of the last great Scottish rebellion against the English. It is appropriate that the Malt Whiskies used in the blend come from the Highlands of Scotland where they have been carefully matured under expert supervision. Brought together by a skilled blender, they contribute towards a blend of which their namesake Prince Charlie would have been proud.

Almost a hundred years later, master blender Stephanie Macleod used the painting as inspiration for a rare and special whiskey.
Glengoyne Malt Scotch
Fresh green apples, toffee and a hint of nuttiness. This is the taste of distilling slower than anyone else in Scotland, of barley we dry by air – never peat – and of hand-selected sherry casks crafted from European and American oak.
