Black Velvet first came out of the barrel in 1951. The brand was initially known as “Black Label,” but after Jack Napier, the original distiller, sampled the first batch, he changed the name to Black Velvet to reflect its uncommon velvety taste and smoothness. It’s sold in over 55 countries around the world. Using crystal clear Canadian water, plus the finest rye, grains, and corn, the whisky is painstakingly distilled, blended at birth, and put up in premium oak barrels to gently mature.

Matisse is named after pioneering French artist Henri Matisse. According to Matisse Spirits Company, he was ‘…a revolutionary painter that infuses eastern culture into western paintings’. Matisse whiskies are presented in very modern packaging and embrace blends, blended malts, single malts and single cask bottlings. The principal range – sourced from Speyside and the Highlands regions – comprises an NAS blend, 12- and 21-year-old blends, a 12-year-old blended malt, 15- and 19-year-old single malts, and a 1972 single malt.
Black and White is a brand of blended Scotch whisky created by founder James Buchanan in the late 1800s. The brand is recognized widely all over the world for its unique logo that features two Terrier dogs, one white and the other black, a motif conceptualized by the founder himself and has been used by the brand since the 1890s.
Dalmore 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highlands region of Scotland. The 15 Year Old Dalmore was launched in 2007, before which the Dalmore 12 Year Old was the only widely available expression from the company. The Dalmore Distillery is widely known through their logo, a twelve-pointed Royal stag. The distillery and brand is owned by Whyte & Mackay, which is now owned by Emperador Inc., a Philippines based conglomerate.
