Another addition to our ever expanding Bushmills collection, Bushmills Red Bush. This triple distilled single malt and Irish grain whiskey blend is the first new expression in nearly five years to come from the Old Bushmills Distillery for the domestic market. This particular expression of Bushmills has been matured in first fill Bourbon casks so lots of vanilla and buttery notes can be expected. A very approachable whiskey!
Black Bush is classed as the 'deluxe' blend from Bushmills and it has a lot of loyal fans across the world. Compared to the standard blend this has more depth, richness but also some woody hints. Maybe not as smooth as the Bushmills Original but it packs a lot more flavour. This is vatted from approximately 80% malt whiskey and 20% grain whiskey some of which is aged for as long as 18 years. A very high proportion of ex-sherry casks are used for the maturation giving the whiskey its signature dark colour and some delicious flavours of dried fruits, roasted nuts and caramel toffees. This still ranks as one of the best blended whiskeys in the world!
Bushmills Irish Honey Whiskey is a limited edition blend that was created by mingling Bushmills Original Irish Whiskey and a touch of honey to bring out new, rich flavors. Bushmills Irish Honey Whiskey is smooth with honeyed orchard fruit on the nose, spicy fruit and honey on the palate and a warm, subtle honey finish. Serve Bushmills Irish Honey Whiskey neat, in iced tea or an Irish Coffee.
A mix of bourbon and sherry casks matured for 19 years before the last two years are spent finishing in ex-Madeira casks, this is the top of Bushmills' regular range.
The 16 year old Bushmills builds on the soft, smoothness of the 10 year old and adds some very nice fruity characters. The whiskey is initially aged seperately for 15 years in both bourbon and sherry casks then these are married together into port wood for around a year of extra finishing. The port wood adds some delicious flavours of red fruits, some sweetness and hints of candy and chocolate. Like all Bushmills whiskeys it is very smooth but this one has a sweeter, fruitier edge than them all.
The Bushmills 21 Year Old is a single malt Irish whiskey from Bushmills, one of the oldest distilleries in Ireland. This expression is also known as the ‘Three Wood’ whiskey due to its maturation in three different types of barrels.
The Irish penchant for whiskey is matched by few, and this love for whiskey is embodied perfectly by Bushmills, one of the oldest and most popular Irish whiskey makers on the island country. Dating back as far as 1608, Bushmills was founded by Thomas Philips when King James I granted him with a license to distil.
This is a well-preserved 1970s bottling of William Lawson's Blended Scotch Whisky, produced over 30 years ago. The William Lawson's blend has enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence - perhaps as it has come to light that William Lawson was supposedly raised by wolves. That might just be a fabrication though. Or it might be the truth. Who knows!
Whistlepig's Annual Boss Hog Releases Are Always Very Exciting Expressions For Rye Enthusiasts, And The 2018 Edition Most Certainly Will Make A Few Eyebrows Raise Excitedly. It's A 13 Year Old Rye Whiskey, Which Has Been Finished In Calvados Casks, In Honour Of Whistlepig's Mauve And Her Love Of Apples. Apples Are Great, So That's Understandable. The Calvados Casks Have Helped To Bolster The Stewed Orchard Fruit Notes At The Core Of The Spirit.
Nàdurra, meaning “natural” in Gaelic, is The Glenlivet’s range of small-batch expressions made using traditional 19th-century techniques. The Nàdurra First Fill is drawn from casks made of American white oak which have never before been used to mature Scotch whisky. These oak casks, which distillers at The Glenlivet have favored since the early 1900s, impart hints of creamy vanilla to this wonderfully rich single malt. You’ll really taste the effects of that white oak, beautifully complemented by sweet pear, tropical pineapple, ripe banana, and citric sparkle. This is a cask-strength single malt that represents the skill of our team and the tradition of The Glenlivet. And unlike most modern whiskies, this one is non-chill filtered, so it’s very richly textured. It’s an expression that will appeal to the intrepid whisky lover.

Something Special is a blended Scotch whisky that has enjoyed a particularly dominant presence in South American countries. The blend’s fingerprint malt whisky came in from the Speyside distillery of Longmorn which played a pivotal role in its popularity as a luxury whisky during the early 20th century.

This is a blended malt named in honor of Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky. He is the first Japanese who mastered whisky-making in Scotland and produced the genuine whisky in Japan. Masataka learned that the natural resources surrounding a distillery were essential for quality whisky. Based on his thought, he selected two places, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, and built two distilleries there. Its gentle malt flavor, fruitiness and extremely well-balanced taste make it a perfect entry point into the world of Nikka.
