Black Watch Scotch
This old-school Scottish pub ale is a classic northern British style of bitter. The rich caramel and roasted malt sweetness is balanced with American bittering hops and dry hopped with British Goldings hops. Dry hopping is a technique that involves adding hops after fermentation to cooled beer to impart an intensely herbal, fresh hop taste and aroma, typically lost when added earlier in the brewing process.

Milton Duff Malt Scotch
One wonders what the monks would have made of it. Moonshining was commonplace in the surroundings of Pluscarden Abbey in the smuggling era of the late 18th and early 19th century. Whether any monastic distillation ever took place is unknown – the original monastery fell into ruin in the early 17th century, but was restored in 1948 and is now the only medieval monastery still inhabited by monks. Distillation certainly took place at Milton Farm where the abbey’s old meal mill once stood.
Bond 7 Whisky
Bond Seven is a very aromatic whiskey with hints of peat and fruit. The whiskeys scent combines rich, balanced notes of both holiday spice and dark caramel. Robust malt and grain are the two main players on the palate whilst hints of sweet spices and ginger can also be tasted. The whiskey finishes with extended island smokiness and a quick flash of peat. Overall Bond Seven takes the drinker on a journey from sweet toffee, through to peat and leaves them with a drying finish.
